
At least nine people were killed and 30 others injured in six road accidents in four districts, Dinajpur, Habiganj, Rajshahi and Magura, on Monday.聽
抖阴精品 correspondent in Rangpur reported that four people were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between a microbus and a truck on Dinajpur- Panchagarh highway in Chhabbismile area near Bablu Farm of Birganj upazila in Dinajpur.
The deceased were identified as microbus driver Manik Hossain, 35, of Thakurgaon Sadar Road Colonia Para, Delwar Hossain, 45, of Hazipara in Thakurgaon municipality, Imrul Hasan, 45, of Boyaldhar village in Baliadangi upazila of Thakurgaon, and Julfikar Ali, 45, of Malibhita village in Ranisankail upazila of Thakurgaon. Julfikar was an auditor at the Thakurgaon district accounts office.聽
Of the injured, Mizanur Rahman, 48, Al Mamun, 40, and Abdul Mannan, 37, were undergoing聽 treatment at Thakurgaon 250-bed General Hospital, while Nahid Islam, 32, was discharged after first aid was given, said Rokibul Alam, resident medical officer at the hospital.
Officer-in-charge of Dashmile Highway Police in Dinajpur Md Omar Faruq said that the collision occurred between a Rangpur-bound microbus and a goods-laden truck at about 6:30am.
Birganj police officer-in-charge Abdul Gafur said that a case was filed.

Three people, including a bus driver, were killed and 20 passengers were injured when two buses collided head-on on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Bahubal upazila.聽聽
Bahubal police officer-in-charge Zahidul Hasan confirmed the causalities, saying that the accident happened at about 3:00pm.聽
Earlier about noon in Bahubal, a speeding truck collided head-on with a bus on the same highway in Dubaoi Bazar area, leaving the bus driver, Suhel Ahmed, critically injured.
In another incident, 抖阴精品 staff correspondent in Rajshahi reported that the legs of a father and his five-year-old daughter were severed, while her mother鈥檚 hand was fractured when a bus hit their motorcycle on Rajshahi-Iswardi highway at Bagha upazila in Rajshahi.
Injured Jahedul Islam Shanto, 27, and his daughter Umma Turaifa Khatun, 5, were admitted to the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation in the capital. His injured wife Jesmin Akter, 24, is pregnant, according to the police.
Local people and the police said that the accident happened when Zahedul and his wife were taking their daughter to school on motorcycle in the morning.
Bagha police officer-in-charge AFM Asaduzzaman said that legal action would be taken upon receiving formal complaint.
Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha reported that a schoolgirl and a man were killed and two others injured in two separate road accidents in Sadar upazila of Magura.
The deceased was identified as Maria, 7, a first-grade student of Kechuadubi Government Primary School in the upazila. The identity of another deceased could not be known immediately.
Schoolgirl Maria was killed and another schoolgirl Habiba, 8, was injured when a bus of Golden Line Paribahan hit them in Kechuadubi area on Jashore-Magura highway at about 11:30am as they were returning home from school, said Ramnagar Highway Police sub-inspector Mahbubur Rahman.
In the other incident that occurred at about 8:00am in Ichakhada Dargah Gate area, a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided head-on with a pickup truck, leaving a passenger of the auto-rickshaw and pickup truck driver injured. On-duty doctor pronounced the passenger dead when they were taken to Magura Sadar Hospital.
