Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University Journalists鈥� Association celebrated the 10th founding anniversary at the university in Mymensingh on Monday.
M Zakir Hossain Khan, chief executive of Change Initiative and a member of the university syndicate, inaugurated the event in front of the university鈥檚 new administrative building, said a press release on Tuesday.
The events featured bringing out rally and discussion.聽
The discussion was presided over by association president Md Kamrul Hasan and conducted by general secretary Jannati Begum.
The event was graced by the presence of the university鈥檚 vice-chancellor Professor Md. Jahangir Alam as chief guest.
Md Mahbubur Rahman, syndicate member and founder and vice-president of State University of Bangladesh joined as keynote speaker at the discussion. M Zakir Hossain Khan was also present at the discussion.
The VC said, 鈥業 am hopeful that the journalists of the university will continue contributing positively to the country.
The Nazrul University Journalists鈥� Association will stay true to honest journalism and play a leading role in taking our university to the global stage.
