
Biman Bangladesh Airlines has recently appointed 82 new ground service assistants at a ceremony at the head office of the airlines in Dhaka.
A Biman press released on Monday said that 1930 candidates passed the written examination of the recruitment of the airlines and 380 were finally selected.
Out of these, 69 were issued appointment letters in the first phase and 82 in the second phase. In addition, 122 were kept on the waiting list, added the press release.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines managing director and CEO Shafiqur Rahman said to the appointed candidates, ‘The main objective of those who have come to this profession is to keep an eye on the safety and service of all passengers.’
In his speech, he called on the new ground service assistants to provide improved passenger service in providing services at the third terminal.
