Rotary Club of Motijheel has recently provided 12 wheelchairs for the pilgrims of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
On behalf of the club, Abdus Shakur Chowdhury handed over the wheelchairs to Biman Bangladesh Airlines managing director and chief executive officer Md Shafiqur Rahman at a ceremony at Balaka Bhaban in Dhaka, said a press release on Thursday.
Among others, the airlines director of marketing and sales Ashraful Alam, general manager of public relations ABM Raoshan Kabir and Rotary Club of Motijheel鈥檚 Satya Ranjan Saha and Masih Malik Chowdhury were present at the ceremony.
Shafiqur Rahman said that the addition of wheelchairs would make hajj pilgrimage more comfortable and safe for the pilgrims.
