Bangladesh鈥檚 interim government has appointed Daily Samakal planning editor Faruk Wasif as director general of the Press Institute Bangladesh for two years on Wednesday.
The public administration issued a gazette notification to the effect on the day.
Journalist Faruk Wasif has been appointed to the post on the condition that he will have to leave working relations with other organisations, according to the official order.
