Eight students of Chittagong University of Science and Technology are going to study at the University of Agder in Norway under an exchange programme titled ‘Care Project’.

Three students will study for two years and five students will study for five months at the university. The students will receive full scholarships.


The students, who will travel to Norway in August, participated in a view exchange meeting with vice-chancellor of CUET Mohammad Rafiqul Alam at the Syndicate Room of the administration building of the university on Thursday.

CUET pro-vice-chancellor professor Jamal Uddin Ahmed, dean of mechanical engineering faculty Kazi Afzalur Rahman, registrar, additional duty, professor Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir and head of mechanical engineering department professor Mohammad Mizanur Rahman were also present at the programme, which was conducted by the project director and coordinator of ‘Care Project’ at CUET and professor of mechanical engineering department Abu Sadat Muhammad Sayem.

CUET has been exchanging students with the University of Agder of Norway under the project since 2022.

Five students who recently studied at the University of Agder in Norway under the exchange programme were also present at the event.
