The 13th death anniversary of Anwarul Abedin, founder chairman of the American International University鈥揃angladesh, will be observed on Friday.
On the occasion, a Qur鈥檃n recitation, prayer, and milad mahfil will be organised on the AIUB campus in Dhaka, said a press release.
Remembered as a visionary academic leader, Anwarul Abedin played a pivotal role in transforming the landscape of higher education in Bangladesh. Through his dedication and foresight, he laid the foundation of the AIUB and guided its journey toward academic excellence and institutional growth.
