Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology held a tree planting programme on the CUET campus in Chattogram on Sunday.
CUET vice-chancellor Professor Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan inaugurated the programme, said a press release.
Also present at the event were CUET civil and environmental engineering faculty dean Professor Sudip Kumar Pal, mechanical and manufacturing faculty dean Professor Kazi Afzalur Rahman, safety adviser Professor Ashutosh Saha, disaster management and engineering department teacher Professor Maruful Hasan Majumder, chief engineer Md Sirajul Islam, chief librarian Md Abdul Khalek Sarkar, deputy registrar Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, public relations deputy director Mohammad Fazlur Rahman, deputy director for security Mohammad Anisuzzaman Khan and public relations officer Aidit Ibne Manju, among others.
