Bangladesh Maritime University, country’s specialised public university, organised ‘The July Mass Uprising Revival Programme-2025, July Commemoration’ on its temporary campus in Dhaka on Tuesday.
Vice-chancellor of the university Rear Admiral Khandakar Akhter Hossain was present as the chief guest, said a press release.
The university’s treasurer, registrar, deans, faculty members, officers, employees, students, and July uprising injured were also present.
Swarna Datta, assistant professor, department of Bangla, Hasibul Islam, lecturer, management and Anneshana Banik, student of the department of port and shipping management delivered their speech on July Women’s Day.
A video clip on July uprising also exhibited. The ceremony was concluded with prayers and group photography.
