
The school of business at Southeast University in collaboration with the CSCA, SBIF, SEUDC hosted an international summit on three zero policy on the SEU campus in Dhaka on Monday.
The event began with opening remarks from the SEU pro-vice-chancellor Professor Mofazzal Hossain, said a press release on Tuesday.
Chaired by the SEU vice-chancellor Professor Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, the first session featured Ashraful Hasan, chairman of Grameen Group, as chief guest, who shared his experiences of building Grameen Bank projects.
The summit brought together a distinguished speakers consisting of policymakers, academics, industry experts, diplomats and youth leaders from six countries.
The event was dedicated to fostering dialogue for policy making actionable strategies for achieving zero poverty, zero unemployment and zero net carbon emissions.聽
The closing session featured an esteemed panel of guests who shared their insights on the path forward to build project aligned with the vision of Three Zeroes.
Power, energy and mineral resources adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan graced the event as chief guest.
He emphasised crucial areas like renewable energy, sustainable development and poverty alleviation in his speech, highlighting cooperation to advance innovative solutions and sustainable development in Bangladesh.
He also spoke about installing rooftop solar panels in offices, courts, schools and colleges, stating that a collaborative spirit was essential to inspire future generations of leaders and entrepreneurs.
Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, North South University VC and chairman of Grameen Bank, served as guest of honour while Southeast University trust chairman Rezaul Karim delivered a special address at the session.
