Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh, for the first time, participated in the Design/Build/Fly competition, organised by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics from April 2025 10 to 13 in Arizona, USA, and secured 18th place in the design report and 36th place overall.
Following the performance, a grand reception and a press briefing were organised on AAUB Dhaka campus with the presence of vice-chancellor Air Vice-Marshal AKM Manirul Bahar on Tuesday, said a press release.
In addition to the success of DBF team, AAUB has other achievements 鈥� the successful launch of Cube Satellite Balloon, 2nd runner-up position in Kibo Robot programming and qualifying for CanSat final round competition.
Senior officials of ministry of education and high officials of Bangladesh Air Force were also present.
