Sonali Bank PLC organised a view-exchange meeting with the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit, bank鈥檚 board of directors and senior management on taking effective initiatives to ensure good corporate governance and preventing money laundering and terrorist financing.
The meeting was held at the bank鈥檚 head office conference room on Monday, said a press release.
Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury, chairman of Sonali Bank, attended the meeting as chief guest.
The managing director and chief executive officer Md Shawkat Ali Khan presided over the meeting while members of board of directors were present as special guests.
BFIU director Md Mostakur Rahman and joint director Shah Alam Kazi spoke on the occasion.
Among others, Sonali Bank deputy managing directors and general managers took part in the meeting.
