The certificate distribution ceremony of the 11th batch of the 鈥楥ertificate Course on Islamic Banking and Finance鈥� course conducted by the Central Sharia Board for Islamic Banks of Bangladesh was held at the Central Sharia Board Training Institute at Kakrail on Saturday.
The ceremony was presided over by Syed Sakhawatul Islam, in-charge (administration) of the Central Sharia Board, and the chief guest was Islamic University vice-chancellor Professor Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah.
The special guests were Islamic Arabic University vice-chancellor Professor Md Shamsul Alam, Islamic Banking Regulations and Policy Department director of Bangladesh Bank, Anisur Rahman, and Professor Md Mostafizur Rahman, Islamic University of Bangladesh.
The welcome address was delivered by the board鈥檚 secretary general (acting) Mufti Muhammad Muhibullahil Baki An-Nadawi and the programme was moderated by the board鈥檚 senior principal officer and CIBF course coordinator Md Rayhanul Amin.
Certificates were distributed among 49 fellows.
