As part of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC provided financial assistance of Tk 5 lakh to Md Shamsur Rahman, a resident of Afra village in Narail district on Saturday for the treatment of cancer.
The head of public relations department and Shahjalal Islami Bank Foundation KM Harunur Rashid handed over the donation cheque to Shamsur Rahman.
Among others, the SAVP of corporate head office of Shahjalal Islami Bank Md Ibrahim Hossen and the executive officer of the foundation Md Kamal Mia were present while handing over the donation cheque.
