Maksudul Hasan has been appointed as additional managing director of Uttara Bank PLC, said a press release.
Prior to this, he served as deputy managing director of the bank.
He started his banking career at Uttara Bank in 1989 as a probationary officer. He worked as branch manager in both non AD and AD branch.
He joined the bank鈥檚 head office in 2006.
He was chief risk officer of the Bank from June 26, 2019 to June 05, 2023. He also served as chairman of different committees of the bank.
He was awarded Integrity Reward for the 2021-22 financial year in recognition of his contributions to the practice of integrity in the bank.
He obtained his BA (honours) and MA degree in English from Jahangirnagar University.
