Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC provided sponsorship of Tk 20 lakh to the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) to organise Hajj and Umrah Fair-2025.
Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, managing director of the bank, handed over the sponsorship cheque to Syed Golam Sarwer, president of the association, at a function organized at the corporate head office of the bank.
Among others, the association鈥檚 secretary general Farid Ahmed Mazumder, Shahjalal Islami Bank additional managing director Imtiaz U Ahmed, company secretary of the bank Md Abul Bashar, The CFO of the bank Md Jafar Sadeq, the head of investment risk management division Md Amzad Hossain, head of Sharia inspection and compliance division of the bank Md Farid Uddin, SAVP Md Jakir Hossain and the JAVP, in-charge of the public relations division and bank foundation KM Harunur Rashid were present during the handing over the cheque.
The three-day 鈥楬ajj and Umrah Fair-2025鈥� will be held in August 14-16 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC) at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka.
