The Annual Business Conference- 2025 of Mercantile Bank was held at the Le Meridien hotel on Saturday participated by the heads of the 152 branches and 45 sub-branches, deputy managing directors, heads of all divisions and regional offices.
Md Anwarul Haque, chairman of the Mercantile Bank Board of Directors, was chief guest while managing director Mati Ul Hasan presided over the programme.
Mercantile Bank vice-chairman Akram Hossain (Humayun), executive committee chairman MA Khan Belal, risk management committee chairman Mohammad Abdul Awal, director ASM Feroz Alam, also chairman of Mercantile Bank Securities Limited, director M Amanullah, also chairman of Mercantile Exchange House (UK) Limited, director Mosharref Hossain and CFO Tapash Chandra Paul, took part in the conference.
Deputy managing directors Md Zakir Hossain, Adil Raihan, Shamim Ahmed, Ashim Kumar Saha and Md Zahid Hossain, were also present with other senior executives and officers of the bank.
Chairman Anwarul Haque thanked the heads of branches, upashakhas and divisions for their sincere efforts to attain the organizational goals. He also stated that banking sector took the lead to keep country鈥檚 economic stability despite having challenges emanated from recent political situations and worldwide economic downswing.
