Mercantile Bank PLC distributed blankets among cold-hit people of Kalaiya union at Baufal upazila in Patuakhali on Saturday.
The initiative was taken by the bank鈥檚 sponsor director and chairman of Mercantile Bank Securities Limited ASM Feroz Alam.
According to a press release, the bank distributed blankets among 500 underprivileged people at Shaheda-Gafur-Ibrahim General Hospital premises.
Branch heads, all managers of Barishal region, and others were present on the occasion.
