Composer-singer Raja Bashir and singer Humaira Bashir have released six music videos marking Eid-ul-Azha at the official YouTube channel of Sargam Sound Station.
Raja Bashir who composed all six songs said that they released the songs in six days to celebrate the Eid festival.
Their first song titled Gramophone sung by Humaira Bashir was released on Saturday. The lyric of Gramophone was written by late lyricist Enamul Haque Apu.
‘The song Gramophone is set in 1920 to 1930 visuals that create vintage visuals. Now we run with ultra-modern technology but the primary era of technology also created nostalgia not only in visuals but also in lyric and tune,’ Humaira Bashir said, adding that the music video which was also directed by Raja Bashir caught audience interests.
Humaira Bashir said that two more songs he sang would be released during this festival.
‘Two other songs are duets, while Maan Obhimaan is sung with Raja Bashir and the song titled Pahari Pothe with Ibrahim Khalil, which will give contemporary modern feeling to music lovers,’ said Humaira Bashir.
The lyric of Maan Obhimaan was written by Shohag Reja and Pahari Pothe was written by Enamul Haque Apu.
Three solo songs titled Bondhu by Tanvir Ishteaq Bunty, Shondhay by Ibrahim Khalil and Besto Shohor by Raja Bashir will be released this week, said Raja Bashir.
