
England-based Hamza Choudhury arrived in Dhaka on Monday to join the national team ahead of their friendly match against Bhutan and the AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers against Singapore.Ìý
The Leicester City midfielder, currently on loan to Sheffield United, made his debut for Bangladesh against India on March 25. He is anticipated to play at home for the first time in the friendly match against Bhutan on Wednesday.
Bangladesh face Singapore in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers on June 10. Both matches will be held at the National Stadium in Dhaka, which is set to host its first international fixture in four years.
