The authorities of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) have expelled one student and suspended 24 others for several terms on charges of ragging freshers.
Fahim Muntasir, a second-year student of the Economics Department, was expelled from the university.
The decision was made at a syndicate meeting following an investigation into the incident, SUST pro-vice-chancellor Md Sajedul Karim said on Monday.
