A bilateral agreement was signed on Saturday between the Government Employees Hospital and Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation for the proper management and quality services at the cafeteria of the 500-bed hospital at Fulbaria in Dhaka.
From now on, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation will provide catering services to the patients, patient attendants, working doctors, nurses, officers and support staff visiting the hospital.
The operation of the cafeteria will start from January 2026 by Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation.
The bilateral agreement was signed by Md Saiduzzaman, director (administration) on behalf of the Government Employees Hospital authority and ANM Mostadud Dastagir, general manager (commercial) on behalf of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation.
The agreement signing ceremony was held at the head office of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, ‘Parjatan Bhaban’ in Agargaon.
It was attended by the chairman and additional secretary of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, Saema Shaheen Sultana, and the director general of Government Employees Hospital additional secretary Md A Razzak Sarkar.
Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation chairman said that the organisation will make every effort to ensure improved services at the Government Employees Hospital cafeteria at affordable prices.
On the other hand, the director general of Government Employees Hospital said that the hospital would provide all kinds of support for the smooth operation of the cafeteria.
Senior officials of both the organizations were present at the agreement signing ceremony.
