Rajshahi divisional commissioner and new administrator of Rajshahi City Corporation ANM Bazlur Rashid exchanged views with the department and branch heads of the city corporation at the City Hall meeting room of Nagar Bhaban on Thursday.
Chief executive officer of the city corporation and the department heads greeted the administrator with flowers at the beginning of the meeting, said a press release.
A presentation was also made on the overall activities of the RCC at the meeting.
Speaking as chief guest at the meeting, Bazlur Rashid, who took charge as the RCC administrator on November 18, said, 鈥楥ity corporation is a public service institution. We have to work properly for the satisfaction of the people.鈥�
He also gave directions on the ongoing infrastructural development work of Rajshahi city, drainage system, cleanliness and improved waste management, shade tree plantation, environmental development and various activities of the RCC.
RCC CEO Md Rejaul Karim presided over the meeting, while Rajshahi additional divisional commissioner for development and ICT Md Rezaul Alam Sarkar, among others, addressed the meeting.
