Jamuna Bank PLC recently organised financial literacy programme for students of Naohata Girls High School, a renowned educational institution under Paba Upazilla in Rajshahi district, as part of its Financial Literacy initiative.
Executive vice-president and head of banking operation division of Jamuna Bank, Abdus Sobhan, attended as chief guest on the occasion, said a press release.
In his remarks, he said, 鈥業t is the responsibility of all of us to spread the concept of financial discipline and savings among the younger generation.鈥�
The head teacher and president of the managing committee of the school attended as a special guest.
Hasanur Rahman, zonal head of Rajshahi zone and manager of Rajshahi Branch, presided over the event.
