Mercantile Bank PLC organised ‘Risk Conference 2025’ on Saturday at the Bank’s head office in the capital.
Md Sirajul Islam, executive director, Bangladesh Bank, inaugurated the conference as chief guest, said a press release.
Md Anwarul Haq, chairman of the board of directors, and Mohammad Abdul Awal, chairman of the risk management committee, spoke at the conference as guests of honour.
Mati Ul Hasan, managing director of the bank and ANM Moinul Kabir, director (DOS) of Bangladesh Bank, spoke at the meeting as special guests.
MA Khan Belal, chairman, executive committee, Professor Md Rezaul Kabir, chairman of audit committee, ASM Feroz Alam and M Amanullah, directors, Mohammad Thoufiqul Islam, independent director of the bank, attended the meeting.
Surabhi Ghosh, additional director, and Nazmin Nahar, joint director from (DOS) of Bangladesh Bank, conducted the session as resource persons.
Md Zakir Hossain, DMD and CRO (acting) of the bank, delivered his welcome speech, and Shamim Ahmed, EVP and DCRO, gave his vote of thanks.
