Juairiya Ferdous led Rangpur to secure a commanding eight-wicket win over Khulna in the Women鈥檚 National Cricket League T20 at the BKSP Ground-3 in Savar on Tuesday.

Wicket-keeper batter Juairya top-scored with 42 off 36, which featured four boundaries and two sixes, accompanied by Jannatul Maoua鈥檚 26, in response to Khulna鈥檚 112-6.


Rangpur reached 113-2 with one over to spare and their perfect run after the third round fixtures. Earlier, Rangpur pacer Shorifa Khatun continued her fine form with 2-25.

In another match at the same venue, Chattogram defeated Rajshahi by six wickets, securing their third consecutive victory.

Opting to bat, Rajshahi managed 104-5, thanks to Mst Eva鈥檚 45 off 47. In reply, Taj Nehar (28), Rubya Haider (20) and Fahima Khatun (17) made some light work to reach 105-4 in 18.4 overs.

Barishal romped to a seven-wicket victory against Mymensingh at the BKSP Ground 4.

Mymensingh scored 104-6, thanks to Sumaiya Akter鈥檚 knock of 40 and Farzana

Akter, who scored 39. However, others failed to reach double figures.

Barishal reached 107-3 with four balls to spare. Opener Farzana Haque hit 41 off 55, while skipper Rabeya Khan

added 37 off 39. Earlier, Sultana Khatun took 2-16 for Barishal.

Jannatul Ferdus Sumona returned with 3-17 as Sylhet thrashed Dhaka in a low-scoring match at the same venue.

Batting first, Dhaka were dismissed for 59 in 17.4 overs, after Jannatul鈥檚 brilliance and Shanjida Akther鈥檚 2-2, while others took one wicket apiece.

Opener Unnoti Akter scored 23 off 45 deliveries, but others failed miserably.

Then Sharmin Supta played an unbeaten 25 off 41 to guide them home in 15.2 overs.
