Bangladesh Nationalist Party acting chairman Tarique Rahman called an emergency meeting of the party鈥檚 standing committee tonight.
The BNP standing committee member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain confirmed BSS that the meeting will be held tonight at 8:30pm at the BNP chairperson鈥檚 office in Gulshan.
He said that there is no specific agenda for the meeting, describing it as an 鈥榦pen discussion,鈥� and emphasised that today鈥檚 meeting is certainly important.
The BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman will virtually preside over the meeting from London.
