Today is the 42nd death anniversary of former lawmaker Manabendra Narayan Larma.
MN Larma, the founding chief of the Parbatya Chattogram Jana Samhati Samity, was assassinated on November 10, 1983.
To mark the day, the Committee for the Observation of MN Larma鈥檚 42nd Death Anniversary will organise an event at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Dhaka today.
The organisers will organise a commemoration meeting and a cultural function in the afternoon and light candles in the evening at the venue.
