Four Bangladeshi artists had their artworks showcased at the World Culture Festival 2025, which was held at the Arts Council of Pakistan in Karachi.
A four-day exhibition titled Peace and Pieces: Volume 1, curated by Farrukh Shahab, Jamal Ashiqain, and Umaina Khan, concluded on Tuesday at Ahmed Parvez Gallery, featuring the artworks of seven artists from four countries — Bangladesh, Comoros, Sweden and Argentina.
Artists Niharika Momtaz, Bubly Barna, Suborna Morsheda and Shambhu Acharya were the Bangladeshi participants in the exhibition which was inaugurated on Saturday displaying 28 artworks portraying memory and belonging to displacement and individualism.
Organised collaboratively by the Art Council of Pakistan – Karachi and the Government of Sindh, the exhibition also included participating artists Yaz from the Comoros, Domi Forest from Sweden, and Adrian Bojko from Argentina.
The festival’s theme centered on linking the nations, and featured a diverse program of theatre performances, musical concerts, and film screenings to explore this idea.
