United Commercial Bank PLC on Monday opened its 232nd branch at Hajiganj in Chandpur, said a press release.
MD and CEO Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid inaugurated the new branch.
Among others, distribution and strategy head Md Ridwanul Hoque, retail business division head Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman and chief communication officer Zeeshan Kingshuk Huq were present alongside local businesses and dignitaries.
In his inaugural address, Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid said, 鈥業n the history of UCB, not a single cheque has ever bounced and not a single transaction has been delayed even for a moment 鈥� this stands as a testament to our professionalism and service excellence.鈥�
鈥業n the first nine months of this year alone, UCB achieved more than Tk 10,100 crore in net deposit growth and added over 5,50,000 new accounts,鈥� he said.
