People observed a mass sit-in in Sylhet city protesting against discrimination against the region in development activities and government allocations.
Several thousand people, including social, cultural and religious organisations and political leaders and activists, attended the mass sit-in in the city鈥檚 Court Point.
Former Sylhet city mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury organised the programme under the banner of 鈥楽ylhet Movement鈥�.
