Md A Sattar Gazi and Md Al Amin have been elected president and general secretary, respectively, of the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation Officers’ Association for 2025.
Riyaz Uddin was elected organising secretary while Md Habibur Rahman was elected treasurer of the association, said a press release on Sunday.
The election was held at the polling centre located on the Krishi Bhaban premises in Dhaka, where officials from BADC’s finance and administration pool cast their votes.
Chief election commissioner and general manager, finance, Runa Laila, announced the results.
Sattar Gazi said that they would build a strong association together. ‘I will work above personal interests to implement the fair demands of the organisation’s officials by following the appropriate process.’
Md Al Amin said, ‘I will work for the welfare of BADC along with my colleagues. I seek everyone’s cooperation to implement the programmes given in the manifesto.’
