Vice-chancellor of Pirojpur Science and Technology University Professor Md Shahidul Islam held a meeting with teachers, officials and employees on the occasion of his anniversary of assuming office as VC at the meeting room of the PRSTU administrative building in Pirojpur on Thursday.
At the beginning of the meeting, dean of the faculty of science of the university Akhter Hossain and registrar Khandaker Hamidur Rahman greeted the vice-chancellor with flowers, said a press release.
Professor Shahidul Islam said, 鈥楳y main goal was to ensure the safety of the students. We have already been able to arrange two halls for the students. A quality learning environment has been ensured.鈥�
Mentioning that arrangements have been made to supply other necessary materials in a timely manner, the VC said, 鈥榃hatever we have been able to do so far has been possible because of your cooperation.鈥�
The work of preparing a feasibility study and academic master plan for the construction of a permanent campus of the university is also in process, he mentioned, expressing his hope to make the university as the best university in the country with the sincere cooperation and joint efforts of teachers, students, officials and employees.
