Janata Bank PLC鈥檚 asset-liability management committee, ALCO, held its meeting on Thursday at the bank鈥檚 head office, said a press release.
Managing director Md Mazibur Rahman presided over the meeting.
Among others, deputy managing directors Md Golam Mortuza, Md Nazrul Islam and Md Ashraful Alam, along with general managers and relevant deputy general managers, were present at the meeting.
During the discussion, Md Mazibur Rahman gave directives on various important issues, including formulating strategies in light of the current situation, increasing low-interest deposits, promoting auto challan and foreign remittance growth, as well as emphasising the recovery and reduction of classified loans and the realization of written-off loans.
