ONE Bank PLC has been awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate by France-based certification authority Bureau Veritas (Bangladesh) Pvt Limited for fulfilling the requirements of the ISO 27001:2022 standard, said a press release.
This is an international standard that specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing and maintaining an Information Security Management System.
Bureau Veritas (Bangladesh) had conducted an audit of the bank鈥檚 IT operation, data centre and disaster recovery site for verifying the bank鈥檚 status to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard.
ONE Bank managing director (current charge) Shabbir Ahmed received the certificate from Bureau Veritas (Bangladesh) country manager Sohel Azad in an event at the bank鈥檚 corporate headquarters on October 23.
Among others, ONE Securities Limited (a subsidiary of ONE Bank) adviser John Sarkar, ONE Bank deputy managing director and legal affairs and recovery division head Md Anwarul Islam along with other senior officials of the bank, iota and Bureau Veritas were present at the ceremony.
ONE Bank was certified in ISO 27001:2013 version since 2022.
