Southeast University welcomed newly admitted students of the fall 2025 semester through an orientation programme at the SEU Multipurpose Hall in Dhaka on Thursday.
The programme consisted of two separate sessions, organised by SEU鈥檚 academic schools to greet and guide students from various departments as they embark on their academic journey, said a press release.
The inaugural session hosted students from the departments of architecture, EEE, CSE, textile engineering and Bangla.
The event was highlighted by the presence of chief guest Professor Syeda Sultana Razia, member, Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission.
The second session welcomed students from the BBA and MBA programmes, along with the departments of economics and English, featuring Professor Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan, dean, faculty of arts, University of Dhaka, as chief guest.
The speakers encouraged the students to embrace their current department or position and put forth their utmost effort to succeed.
All sessions were presided over by Professor Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, vice-chancellor of Southeast University.
Professor M Mofazzal Hossain, pro鈥揤C, and Md Anwarul Islam, registrar, also addressed the students, along with the respective deans and department chairs.
