Rubaiyath Ara has been appointed as an independent the director of Peoples Insurance Company Limited, said a press release.
The decision was taken during the company鈥檚 447th board meeting.
At the same time, the company鈥檚 board of directors nominated her as chairperson of the audit committee and nomination and remuneration committee.
She is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh.
