
Captain Liton Das returned from injury as the Bangladesh Cricket Board on Thursday announced a 15-member squad for the first two matches of the forthcoming T20I series against the West Indies.听
Liton had missed the last two matches of Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2025 and the T20I series against Afghanistan in the UAE due to a side strain injury. Jaker Ali led the team in his absence.听
Liton also didn鈥檛 take part in the three-match ODI series against the West Indies.听
All-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin was missed out from the squad for the Asia Cup and the Afghanistan T20s. He played against India in the Asia Cup and then two matches against Afghanistan in the bilateral series.听
He scored eight runs from two innings while picking up four wickets.听
The three-match T20I series against the West Indies will be played at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram, with the matches scheduled on October 27, 29, and 31, respectively.听
