The Premier Bank PLC organised a workshop on ‘Integrity & Ethics Practice in Banking’ at its head office, said a press release.
The programme, held on October 11, focused on promoting ethical standards, transparency, and good governance across all levels of banking operations.
Senior officials from head office and branches actively participated in the session, which highlighted practical approaches to upholding integrity and ethical values in daily banking practices.
Managing director and chief executive officer Mohammad Abu Jafar inaugurated the programme.
Chairman Arifur Rahman gave a speech emphasising the importance of integrity and ethics in sustainable banking.
The technical sessions were conducted by Premier Bank independent director M Nurul Alam, Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit joint director Md Hafizur Rahman khan and Banglalink CCEP director compliance Mohammad Adil Hossain, who shared insights on strengthening ethical culture, regulatory compliance and responsible business conduct in the banking sector.
