Major General Mohammad Moazzem Hossain has joined the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority as its 18th executive chairman, said a press release.
He has joined the Chief Adviser鈥檚 Office as executive chairman of BEPZA.
He succeeds Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman.
Prior to joining BEPZA, Moazzem served as general officer commanding of the 7th Infantry Division and area commander of Barishal Area.
He was commissioned in Corps of Artillery of the Bangladesh Army on December 20, 1992. He is a graduate of Defence Services Command and Staff College, Mirpur and has completed both National Defence Course and Armed Forces War Course from National Defence College, Mirpur, Dhaka.
He has completed MPhil from Bangladesh University of Professionals and is now pursuing PhD from Dhaka University.
