Janata Bank PLC on Sunday held its ‘Khulna Division Half-Yearly Business Branch Managers Conference 2025,’ said a press release.
The conference reviewed business activities up to September 2025 of a total of 90 branches under the bank’s Khulna divisional office, including 6 area offices and 2 corporate branches.
Chairman Md Fazlur Rahman was present as chief guest at the conference.
Managing director Md Mojibur Rahman and deputy managing director Md Golam Mortuza were present as special guests.
The conference was presided over by Abul Kalam Azad, general manager-in-charge of the Khulna divisional office.
Also preseant at the event were company secretary of head office Md Abdul Alim Khan, deputy general manager of business development and marketing department Mohammad Riaz Hossain Fardeous and deputy general manager of public relations department Khalilur Rahman.
During the event, the MD provided necessary directions to the area heads and branch managers present.
He placed special emphasis on collecting low-interest deposits, increasing the bank’s total deposits, expanding CMSME loans and recovering defaulted loans.
