Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited in a statement on Saturday said that they had expelled 11 candidates and filed cases against them with Tejgaon and Kafrul police stations over cheating, impersonating and using of mobile phones during the written test for the post of traffic helper on Friday.

The written test for the post was held at BAF Shaheen College and Civil Aviation School and College.


The expelled candidates included Ruba Akter, Sajahan Hossain Sajib and Imam Ul Haque for using mobile phones inside the examination hall; Md Forhad Hossain Firoz and Md Labib Hasan for discrepancies in admit card photographs; and Md Shahin Mia, Abdus Sobahan and Md Rezwan for impersonating.

In addition, Md Moksedul and Md Nazrul Islam were expelled for other forms of malpractice, while Asadul Islam Utsha was removed for using a duplicate admit card.

Among the 11, five were identified as proxy examinees and they were detained on the spot.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited will continue to uphold a zero-tolerance policy to ensure fairness and transparency in all recruitment procedures, the press release added.
