Midland Bank signed an agreement on Thursday with Shamadhan Services Limited, an emerging digital financial service provider, to facilitate seamless money transfers between Shamadhan accounts and Midland Bank accounts.
The agreement signing ceremony was held on at the bank鈥檚 head office at Gulshan in Dhaka, said a press release.
Md Zahid Hossain, deputy managing director of Midland Bank, and Mohammad Anwar Hossain, chief operating officer of Shamadhan Services Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Maruf Haider, executive vice-president of Midland Bank and Mohammad Anwar Hossain, chief operating officer of Shamadhan Services Limited exchanged the document after the signing of the agreement.
Nazmul Huda Sarkar, chief technology officer, Maruf Haider, executive vice-president; and Ashrafur Rahman, relationship manager of Midland Bank, along with Md Salah Uddin Tanvir, head of product and pricing, and ABM Saiful Bari, head of business and strategy of Shamadhan Services Limited, were also present at the event, along with other senior officials from both organisations.
