
The government has appointed an administrator on Wednesday to ensure the payment of outstanding wages and dues to the workers and employees of NASSA Group.
According to an official order issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Arif Ahmed Khan, additional inspector general of the Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments, has been appointed as administrator to carry out the responsibilities as per the court鈥檚 directive dated October 7, 2025.
According to the notification, the order will take immediate effect.
Earlier, on September 23, a tripartite meeting between workers, employers, and the government decided to permanently close NASSA Group鈥檚 16 factories, located in Dhaka, Gazipur, Chattogram and Cumilla,聽from September 25.
