Bangladesh Bank has approved the appointment of six directors and three independent directors for a Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, following recent board meetings and regulatory requirements.
To this end, the central bank today issued a notification.
According to the notification, the six directors are - Additional IG (Finance) Akram Hossain BPM (Services), Additional IG (HRM) Abu Naser Mohammad Khalen BPM, Additional IG (CID) Md. Chibgat Ullah BPM (Services) PPM, Additional IG (Development) Sardar Nurul Amin BPM (Services), DIG Md Kamrul Ahsan and Additional IG (Admin) AKM Awlad Hossain.
The independent directors are Syed Rafiqul Haque, Mohammad Tofazzul Hossain and Md Morshed Hasan Khan.
According to the central bank notification, these appointments will be effective for the first term on the Board of Directors of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC.
