BRAC Bank has partnered with VeloxPays Pty Ltd, a new remittance service provider, to deliver an app-based remittance experience for wage earners in Bangladesh.

The partnership will enable expatriate Bangladeshis residing in Australia to send their hard-earned remittances easily and securely to BRAC Bank account holders, said a press release on Saturday.


Regulated by the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre, VeloxPays offers a secure and user-friendly platform that allows customers to send money back home, it added.

On September 17, 2025, BRAC Bank’s head of Remittance and Probashi Banking, Shahrear Zamil, and VeloxPays founder and chief executive officer, Md Riaj Uddin, signed the agreement at the bank’s head office in Dhaka.

Md Shaheen Iqbal, deputy managing director and head of Treasury, Financial Institutions, and Corporate and Institutional Banking at BRAC Bank, said, ‘Through this partnership, we aim to provide Bangladeshi wage earners abroad with reliable, affordable, and secure remittance channels.’

This initiative is part of BRAC Bank’s broader strategy to expand its global remittance footprint, enhance customer convenience, and provide efficient, secure, and timely financial services to the Bangladeshi diaspora worldwide, the release said.
