Considering the interest of buyers and visitors, duration of Sony Expo 2025 has been extended by two days.
In a press release sent to the media on Sunday morning, Sony-Smart鈥檚 public relations agency Window Media Limited confirmed the matter.
The expo was originally scheduled for September 26-27. Following the extension, it will now conclude tomorrow.
The exhibition of Japanese Sony products is being held at the Hotel Intercontinental Dhaka since Friday morning presented by Sony-Smart.
There was a huge crowd of visitors and buyers at the fair on Friday and Saturday, many of whom demanded an extension of the expo鈥檚 duration.
In view of their demands, Sony-Smart authorities have decided to keep the expo open until Monday night. The expo is open to the public.
Sony-Smart general manager and head of sales Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury said, 鈥楳any of our esteemed buyers and visitors from different professions have expressed their regret over the phone and inbox that they could not come to this year鈥檚 biggest Sony exhibition as they were out of Dhaka on holidays.鈥�
鈥楧ue to their interest and love, we have decided to extend the organization of Sony Expo 2025 by two days. However, we would like to issue a caution notice to customers. We have already noticed that some unscrupulous traders are misleading buyers by misrepresenting the name of Sony Expo and claiming that the fair is being held from various places,鈥� he said.
He added, 鈥楻emember, it is not at any showroom or roadside shop; Sony Expo is only held at the five-star Hotel Intercontinental Dhaka located next to Shahbagh in the capital. There is no pre-registration or entry fee to participate in this exhibition, and there is no condition of purchasing any product.鈥�
The Sony product exhibition has been organised by Smart Technologies (BD) Limited, the official distributor of Sony in Bangladesh.
