
The Southeast University inaugurated the two-day Pharma Fest 2025 at the Multipurpose Hall of the university in Dhaka on Wednesday.
With the participation of more than 700 students from over 40 universities across the country, the festival is designed to serve as a vital platform for pharmacy students in the country, said a press release.
Distinguished guests at the inauguration included Muhammad Halimuzzaman, deputy managing director and CEO of Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd; Ehsan Aziz, director of marketing, Incepta Pharmaceuticals; and Professor Zakir Ahmed Chowdhury, chairman, department of pharmacy, University of Dhaka.
The programme was presided over by Professor Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, vice-chancellor of Southeast University.
The session was conducted by Israt Jahan Bulbul, chairperson and associate professor, department of pharmacy, SEU.
Also present at the event were Professor Md Mofazzal Hossain, SEU pro鈥揤C; Professor Dewan Md Farid, dean of school of science and engineering; Md Anwarul Islam, registrar of SEU; along with corporate leaders, pharmacists, industry experts, researchers, faculty members, alumni, and pharmacy students.
