The fourth Gono Bishwabidyalay Central Student’s Union elections will be held on Thursday.
The Election Commission has already completed all the preparations for the polls, according to a press release issued on Tuesday.
On September 15, Gono Bishwabidyalay authorities held a coordination meeting with law enforcement and security agencies on the occasion of the central students’ union election.
Gono Bishwabidyalay vice-chancellor Professor Md Abul Hossain chaired the meeting.
Various issues, including the deployment of security force members throughout the campus to ensure a smooth conduct of the election, mandatory display of identity cards by students, and monitoring of voting and counting through CCTV cameras, were discussed in the meeting.
