BRAC Bank on Wednesday inaugurated its new sub-branch at Uposhahar area in Rajshahi City.

Managing director and chief executive officer Tareq Refat Ullah Khan inaugurated the sub-branch at Monowara Max Tower, Dorikhorbona Road, Rajshahi Uposhahar on the day, said a press release.


Deputy managing director and COO Md Sabbir Hossain and senior zonal head for North AKM Tareq and senior officials of the bank鈥檚 distribution network were present.

The opening of the sub-branch in Rajshahi, which is renowned for its educational institutions and cash crops such as mangoes and silk, will enable business and individual customers to access smart banking services conveniently, the release said.

With this addition, the bank鈥檚 sub-branch network now comprises 103 branches.

BRAC Bank launched its sub-branch network as part of its multi-channel distribution strategy, aiming to bring the best banking services to customers across the country.

The new sub-branch will offer a range of modern banking services that will provide convenience to individual and business customers.

Customers can avail of all banking services such as account opening, cash deposit and withdrawal, deposit pension scheme, fund transfer using EFTN and RTGS, remittance service, utility bill, credit card, student file, consumer loan, debit card, and chequebook processing, Astha App enrollment, school banking, savings instruments, and many more, except for foreign exchange services.

The bank鈥檚 expansive network includes 294 branches and sub-branches, 330 ATMs, 446 SME unit offices, and 1,121 agent banking outlets across Bangladesh.
